Clarence D. Whiting Grand Rapids Press, Sunday, March 14, 1971, page 5-D WHITING-Clarence D. Whiting, aged 88, of 323 Stowell, Comstock Park, passed away Saturday. He is survived by two sons, James of Rockford Vernon of Muskegon; two stepsons, Eldridge Anson of Muskegon, Hildrith Anson of White Cloud; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday 2 p.m. at the Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home, Sparta. Interment Alpine Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
