Albert Nilsson   foot 1871 - Dode 1901

Albert Nilsson was born September 17, 1871 as we know from this information as well as his grave stone from in Berlin New Hampshire. But His mom Maria "Maja" Nilsdotter and Nils Jonasson were not married until August 1871. So Albert was conceived out of wedlock. This is the case by all accounts of the church records and census information in Sweden.

Some facts from Church records in Värmland Sweden :

Albert Nilsson, born September 17th, 1871 in Köla parish, Värmland county.
He was a son of the worker Nils Jonasson (from Järnskog parish) and his wife
Maria Nilsdotter (from Wästra Flogned; Köla parish). Albert is born in Köla
parish since his mother hadn't yet moved to Boda, Järnskog parish after the
marriage.

They were married August 13th, 1871 in Köla parish. Nils was from Boda,
Järnskog parish (b. 1839) and Maria from Wästra Flogned (b. 1848).

I also found the family in the household records for Boda, Järnskog parish

here:

GLOSSARY with the most commonly occuring words

Anno 1890. County of Värmland

You can see Albert had many Siblings only some came to America Grandpa Arnold often spoke of  Nils and Cecilia.

This information shows Albert's Brother Nils and sister Anna Leaving from Oslo to Portland Main which was a logical port to get to Berlin New Hampshire.  We know from the census and "household" records of 1892 that Nils and Anna did indeed leave for America in May of 1892.  I have not been able to verify if this Anders Anderson listed here is Albert's Father In law but this would be very possible and is also possible that the Anderson Nottestads were the sponsors for some of Albert's family coming over.
